LEGO House of Dots

Trinity Set & Stage designed, built and installed the LEGO House of Dots at Coal Drops Yard, London — an immersive brand activation across eight clad shipping containers for set builder London specialists.

The Brief

LEGO briefed Trinity Set & Stage to deliver the House of Dots, a large-scale immersive brand activation in London to launch the new LEGO Dots product range with artist Camille Walala. As a specialist set builder London brands choose for the most ambitious projects, Trinity Set & Stage was tasked with translating Walala's vibrant colourful vision into a fully built, transportable, public-facing structure that could host thousands of visitors at Coal Drops Yard, Kings Cross. The brief called for eight rooms inside eight shipping containers, an external clad facade, hand-placed LEGO walling and global tour-ready engineering — a brand activation London challenge requiring fabrication, scenic art, structural design and event production London expertise.

Our Approach

Trinity Set & Stage approached the LEGO House of Dots as a fusion of immersive set build and brand activation London engineering. Our design team collaborated directly with LEGO and artist Camille Walala to translate concept sketches into CAD-ready construction drawings across eight shipping containers, each housing a distinct themed environment — living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and disco room. As experienced set builder London partners, we engineered every container to be modular, transportable and global tour-ready while keeping the colourful playful spirit of LEGO Dots intact. Our scenic, fabrication and install teams worked in parallel with the same precision applied on our Bacardi 'You Say You Want A Revolution' immersive build (/case-study/bacardi-you-say-you-want-a-revolution/) and Captain Morgan brand activation (/case-study/captain-morgan/), delivering a finished structure ready for thousands of public visitors at Coal Drops Yard.
