The Brief
London Film Museum and Odeon Cinemas briefed Trinity Set & Stage to design and build the perfect set for the new Aston Martin DB10 reveal in the entrance to Odeon Leicester Square — the car at the heart of the latest James Bond movie, Spectre. The brief called for a high-impact film premiere set build that would frame the DB10 in cinematic style, drive social media coverage and boost ticket sales for one of the year's biggest releases. As a trusted set builder London production studios return to for premiere work, Trinity Set & Stage was tasked with delivering Spectre-themed backdrops, screens running the official trailer and full LED lighting design within the constraints of a live, public cinema foyer in the heart of the West End — a true event production London challenge.
Our Approach
Trinity Set & Stage approached the Spectre Aston Martin DB10 display as a piece of cinematic stagecraft inside a live cinema foyer. Our design team produced Spectre-themed scenic backdrops featuring Daniel Craig and Bond girl Léa Seydoux at hero scale, alongside plasma screen mounts running the official action-packed trailer on loop and a custom narrative panel telling the story of the DB10. As experienced set builder London partners on film, premiere and brand activation London projects, Trinity Set & Stage layered LED profile lighting around the car to lift the entire foyer into a cinematic moment, drawing on the same scenic, lighting and install craftsmanship used on our Fantastic Beasts premiere (/case-study/fantastic-beasts-european-premiere/) and Warner Music BRIT Awards after party (/case-study/warner-music-brit-awards-after-party/). The install had to happen around live cinema operations, with zero disruption to ticketed audiences — the kind of event production London choreography we deliver every week.
