Diageo World Class Bartender of the Year Awards

Three bespoke awards-show bars — Ketel One, Tanqueray and Zacapa — designed and built by London set builder Trinity Set & Stage for Diageo's World Class Bartender of the Year Awards.

The Brief

Diageo briefed Trinity Set & Stage to design and build three unique bespoke bars for the World Class Bartender of the Year Awards, hosted aboard the Azamara Journey cruise ship in Monaco. Each bar needed to act as a stand-alone brand stage for one of Diageo's premium labels — Ketel One, Tanqueray and Zacapa — and sit credibly inside a luxury cruise environment for one of the most prestigious events in the global drinks calendar. As an experienced London set builder for premium brand activation, bespoke bar fabrication and high-end event production, Trinity Set & Stage was selected to deliver all three bars to a finish that matched the World Class name.

Our Approach

Our London set design and fabrication team developed a distinct visual identity for each bar, treating each one as a stand-alone brand activation rather than three repeats of a single unit. The build was engineered from the workshop up as a modular, flat-pack, fast-install system so that three full bars could be shipped to Monaco and built into a working cruise ship within a tight install window, then struck cleanly at the end of the seven-day run — without compromising the premium finish expected of a World Class awards programme. The project draws on our deep experience in bespoke bar build, awards-show set design and international event production logistics from our London base.
